PROGRAMS & WORKSHOPS

This program puts student’s imaginations to the test. Working Together, students will create a story out of LEGO and learn how to use HD cameras, and stop motion technology, to bring their LEGO creations to life. Then the students will move on to the editing process, where they get to add titles, sub-titles, credits, music and their own voice recordings, to bring out the WOW factor. After their LEGO movie is complete, they will also create a high quality movie trailer of their LEGO movie. At the end of the program each student will receive both projects to take home on a brand new USB key!

This One-Of-A-Kind program introduces students to the fun and exciting world of robotics and coding. Throughout the program, students will be amazed as they explore how to program, code, customize, and control up to 5 different Sphero Robots while learning a variety of basic, intermediate, and advanced techniques along the way! Students will also be put to the test using the Lighting Lab APP as they compete in several Sphero Robotics challenges, games and competitions. Examples include: The Ultimate Programmer, sphero soccer, The SUPER MAZE , Robot Bowling, Sphero Golfing, Terrain Parks with ramps and rails, Obstacle Courses & MORE! Don't miss out on all the FUN!

This program is designed to challenge students in a fun, non-competitive environment as they design and create their own unique video games. Throughout the program, students will create up to 5 different video games. For each game, they will learn how to add characters, obstacles, backgrounds, and multiple skill levels.  Students will also be able to fully customize their title pages, high-score boards, instruction pages and cheat codes. At the end of the program students will receive all their video game creations to take home on a brand new USB key!

This program is the ultimate multi-media experience! Throughout the program, students will learn how to create up to 5 different projects using a variety of APPs.  They will also get to challenge their gaming skills with some popular Games of Strategy Apps.  At the end of the program students will have created a Photo Slide Show, Animation Movie, Special Effects Movie, Feature Film Movie and Movie Trailer Projects. Each student will receive all 5 projects to take home on a BRAND NEW USB key!

In this program students will first create a comic book story using a variety of character, animal, and car toys including action figures. They will learn how to create their comic book pages, adding speech bubbles, special effects, title pages and more!  Once their comic book is complete, they will move on to the editing process, learning how to add Sound effects, music, credits and even their own voice recordings to bring their story and characters to life.  They will also create a high quality movie trailer of their Comic Book Movie. At the end of the program each student will receive both projects to take home on a BRAND NEW USB KEY!

This program focuses on basic art principles and introduces students to a variety of art materials and techniques.  Each projects is designed to celebrate their creativity and encourage independence.  Students will have the opportunity to experiment with a broad range of mediums, and get to explore, make a mess and have fun!
Projects include: Mosaic Art, Pottery Sculpting, Painting, Beading, T shirt Design, and MORE!

Children will learn the basics of typing developing their fine motor skills through interactive weekly games, activities and tests. Based on a Mac environment children will  also learn how to use iPhoto and iMovie as they edit and create their own projects including a photo slide show movie using HD Digital Cameras. In addition to getting a certificate of completion children will take home all of their computer projects on a brand new USB key.

This program challenges students to construct and re-design a variety of the most famous and iconic buildings, bridges and structures, all created out of LEGO. Students will go on a new LEGO Adventure each week, learning about a new recognizable landmark around the world.  Then, the students will have 10 minutes to plan out their creations, and another 45 minutes to put their structures together.  At the end of each class, the students will use HD digital cameras to take different angled photos of their Lego Adventure Creations.  At the End of the Program, Each Student will receive a brand new USB key to take home with a slide show movie of their LEGO Adventure Creations. This is a one of a kind LEGO Experience!

Explore Science in a fun and creative way!  This program is intended to get students energized and exctied about science!  We present a hands-on, interactive program that challenges kids to think and explore the hows and whys of science.  Students will be amazed as they witness live demonstrations and participate in up to 2 unique experiments each week.  This program is truly a one-of-a-kind wacky science experience!

After their Clay movie is complete, they will also create a high quality movie trailer of their Clay movie. At the end of the program each student will receive both projects to take home on a BRAND NEW USB key!
